Deans Court is a beautiful historic house a stone’s throw from the heart of Wimborne Minster, Dorset. Along with the house itself, the estate portfolio includes residential and commercial rental properties throughout the region, ranging from flats and houses to offices, shops, restaurants, and over a hundred allotments.
Deans Court estate became one of DMA Property Solutions’ first clients in 2008. Since then, we’ve worked closely with them to maintain their properties in and around Wimborne. Our most recent project
We recently visited Apple Cottage, a charming 18th-century cottage adjoining the Deans Court estate that now serves as a holiday rental. The cottage needed a few repairs, so we serviced the boiler to make sure it was providing consistent heat and hot water. We also fixed a leaky tap and repaired a radiator that wasn’t heating properly. Once our work was complete, the cottage was ready to welcome its next guests!
“They saved the wedding!”
One of our most memorable jobs at Deans Court involved a wedding party staying in one of their cottages. On the morning of the big day, disaster struck when the boiler broke down, leaving the bride, bridesmaids, and parents unable to shower or prepare for the wedding.
When Deans Court's Operations Manager, Jonathon, called us for help, we sprang into action. To restore hot water as quickly as possible, we made the decision to remove a working boiler from another one of their properties and install it in the cottage. Thanks to this, the party was able to get ready for the ceremony without a hitch. As Jonathon put it, we saved the wedding!
