What We Did

DMA was brought in as the lead plumbing contractor to oversee the full renovation from strip-out to completion. The works began in mid-October 2025 and are scheduled for completion by the end of November 2025, with an overall programme of approximately six weeks.

The project is being led by Josh, one of DMA’s most experienced multi-trade professionals. With over 15 years of carpentry experience, Josh has taken charge of internal finishing aspects, including flooring, ceilings, carpentry, and general project management. He ensured every detail meets the high standards expected on a commercial plumbing contract of this scale. “It’s been rewarding working on this job,” said Josh. “Installing hidden doors to conceal the boiler was a neat feature that adds a touch of class to the overall aesthetic.”

Men’s Toilet Refurbishment

In the men’s toilets, DMA replaced all existing sanitary ware with modern, durable, and hygienic fixtures. The layout features:

Both areas were finished with aqua panel walling, a practical, moisture-resistant surface ideal for commercial washrooms, and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring, chosen for its durability and easy maintenance.

“We installed spotlights for lighting on the ceilings,” said Josh. “These provide a comfortable ambient lighting that really helps give the toilets a modern, clean finish.”

The decision to install motion-sensor taps also played an important role in improving hygiene levels.

“We installed motion-sensor taps, which are more hygienic than standard ones,” Josh explained. “They help reduce touch points, which is important in shared spaces.”

The concealed boiler area was another carefully considered element of the design.

“Installing hidden doors to conceal the boiler was a neat feature,” Josh added. “It gives the space a premium, streamlined look while maintaining practical access for maintenance.”
