The Callout Problem
On a Sunday morning at 4:00 am, Cranborne House faced a critical boiler failure. The boiler room was completely flooded and the boiler was releasing clouds of steam, putting the building at risk of further damage and making it likely residents would lose heat and hot water. With 575 rooms and hundreds of residents, it was essential we resolved the issue as quickly as possible.What We Did
After arriving on the scene, we assessed the boiler to identify the cause of the breakdown. We quickly took steps to make the boiler safe and operational, which prevented further damage and minimised disruption for the student residents. Once the boiler was back in working order, we recommended replacing it with a newer model to avoid similar issues in the future. Campus Living Villages agreed, so we returned later to install a brand-new, A-rated 200kW Ideal IMAX boiler. This new boiler significantly improved energy efficiency for the entire residence, providing more comfort and convenience for the residents while saving the company money on long-term running costs.What Our Client Said
